2016.. a year of many highs and even more lows! With some loved ones being taken away from us way too soon, breakups, natural distasters as well as some personal ups and downs made 2016 an interesting year but coming to a close now I can’t seem to think what I did with the last 364 days!
Then I look back at the love I received from you all for my teeny tiny blog. It was at this point last year that I had just started my little blog. The last year has seen it grow more than I had imagined, and me alongside it. I have had the opportunity to meet so many beautiful people, so many collaborations, I wish I had time to say yes to each and every one of them.
2017 has a lot to live up to but I’m sure what 2016 lacked, 2017 will make up for. Whether you all have new years resolutions or just hopes and dreams for the year ahead. I hope and pray, from the depths of my heart, that 2017 is the year for you!
On a very personal note- I am definitely just a girl writing about my love for food but I do want to take the opportunity to say to all the single girls out there that reach out to me.. life is so beautiful and for me, food and writing are my passions! So rather than worrying about who is going to marry you or that boy that didn’t text you back, think about what you want from this thing called life because it will pass you by like a flash of light! You’re only given one opportunity to live it so while you can, do it right! #yolo
