Staycation weekend @ The Royal Lancaster Hotel

“I’m my favourite” – one of Bollywood’s best lines that describe me to the tee. I love alone time, I love my own company and feel so comfortable in it.. sometimes this means I don’t particularly wanna hang with anyone else but to my dismay social inactivity is frowned upon apparently!

So I tend to do this every few months when life gets a bit too busy, I like to go on mini staycations in London, staying in some fancy hotel that I otherwise can’t afford (probably still can’t afford it!). Sometimes it’s with a friend sometimes it’s on my own. So work is sooo busy of late, late nights, working weekends (bleugh!) so I thought it was time for a getaway for a few nights, I packed my bag and booked myself into the Royal Lancaster Hotel.

The hotel is situated about half a minute’s walk from Lancaster Gate tube station so was perfect location. So close to Hyde Park and Bond Street which was great!

I stayed in one of their Executive Rooms, I requested my room to be as high as possible and they put me on the 18th floor which was amazing. The view was great, and I probably picked one of the most stunning evenings to do this.

And who doesn’t like a bathroom view…

But that stunning sky….

And breakfast…

And some in room dining….

What more could a girl ask for!!

Address: Lancaster Terrace, London W2 2TY
Halal Status: None of the restaurants at the hotel serve halal but can be pre requested
Closest Station: Lancaster Gate (Central line)

Already thinking about my next trip 🙂 would you/can you/have you spent enough time on your own recently?

Lots of love
